Scrubbing: In winters our skin becomes dry due to which dead skin gets deposited on our skin and to remove it, scrubbing is an important step in skin care. To make it, we have to apply lemon juice or milk on the face and after washing, mix barley, wheat bran or rose water and water and prepare a paste. Apply on your full face and neck. After it dries a little, remove this mask by massaging with light hands. This will remove all the dead cells on the skin and make our skin soft, shiny and healthy. After the massage, wash the face with water and apply rose water which will work as a toner and minimize the pores.

- Mixing a pinch of salt in Desi Ghee and applying it on the fingers can reduce swelling.
- Putting salt in medium warm water and soaking the feet/hands in it gives you relief from swelling of the toes and also provides relief from pain.
- Mix 1-part wax and 4 parts sesame oil, heat them lightly and apply it on fingers and rub it to get relief.
Soft heels

During winters, we have to take special care of our heels. For this, we should apply Vaseline or healing wax on the heels and wear socks. This will prevent our heels from cracking.

During winters, we should pay attention to hair care along with skin care because along with the face, the scalp also becomes dry due to which we may have to face dandruff and hair fall. We can avoid this by using simple remedies.
- Wash your hair thoroughly and use an anti-dandruff shampoo.
- If you have dandruff, then avoid excessive oiling due to dryness.
- Soak fenugreek seeds in water 1 day before use and grind them. Add curd to it and apply it on your hair and scalp. Wash it after 40 minutes. This hair mask will give you relief from dandruff and your hair will also become soft.
