With the model number SM-S938U, the Samsung handset has been spotted on Geek bench. The ‘U’ in the model number informs that the device is designated to the US region.
Galaxy S25 Ultra Gets remarkable scores in Multi-Core Testing
In single-core testing, the Geek bench listing shows 3,069 points and 9,080 points in multi-core testing. Also, the list suggests that the handset is likely to be equipped with 10.54GB of RAM. This means it could feature 12GB of memory.
Further, the Geek bench listing suggests that the phone will be powered by octa-core chipset with the codename ‘Sun’. The codename is related to the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip It features two prime CPU cores clocked at 4.19GHz and six cores clocked at 2.90GHz.
It has to be mentioned that the maximum frequency is lower than that of the purported Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, which is said to have a peak clock speed of 3.53GHz for efficiency cores and 4.32GHz for performance. But, before the final release, these numbers are likely to be optimized.
Speculations about using Exynos 2500 chipsets
Earlier, there were speculations about Samsung to equip Exynos 2500 chipsets in the Galaxy S25 lineup. Reportedly, Qualcomm will supply Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy chip with overclocked GPU and CPU cores, which are specialized for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The report also states that the new approach of Samsung is part of its efforts to use ‘only the highest performance components’ intertwined with Qualcomm’s active courtship. Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC’s performance is likely to be comparable to the Apple iPhone 16’s A18 chip.
Specs and Features of Samsung Galaxy S25
With the similar design as its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to come. But the CAD renders showcased curved edges and slimmer bezels.
