With the previous films, the script for Dhoom 4, is being developed by Chopra along with Vijay Krishna Acharya. Twenty years ago, in 2004, the Dhoom franchise had begun with Aditya Chopra joining hands with John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra on the Sanjay Gadhvi-directed film. In 2006, the stakes were raised when Hrithik Roshan joined as the antagonist in Dhoom 2. In 2013, the franchise continued to expand with Aamir Khan. YRF’s plan for 2025
Once Ranbir Kapoor wraps up shooting for Love And War and Ramayana 1 & 2, YRF is looking to take the film on floors by the end of 2025/ early 2026. As this movie will be Ranbir’s 25th film, the actor is all excited to make his silver jubilee project special.
By mid-2025, YRF will lock a director, who will join the team into the extensive recce and pre-production process.
