Who is Avani Lekhara
Avani Lekhara is a para shooter. His birth on 8 November 2001 in Jaipur. She belongs to Rajasthan. She is also known as the first Indian Paralympian shooter from Rajasthan. She has made her mark in rifle shooting. She won the bronze medal in the 2022 Tokyo Paralympics by performing brilliantly with 228.7 points. This sport requires extreme accuracy, patience and mental stability. Her shooting technique and strategy make her shine in this sport.
Who is Mona Agarwal
Mona Agarwal is an Indian shooter born on 8 November 1987 in Sikar district of Rajasthan state. Mona Agarwal won the gold medal in the 10m air rifle standing SH1 with a score of 249.7 at the 2024 Summer Paralympics held in Paris, Republic of France. Mona Agarwal is a weightlifter. Strength, technical prowess and correct lifting technique play an important role in weightlifting. Mona has participated in various national and international level competitions and is known for her strength and fitness.
Along with this, shooter Manish Narwal has won the silver medal in the men’s 10m air pistol (SH1) final. At the same time, runner Preeti Pal won another medal for India by winning the bronze medal in the women’s 100m T35 final. Preeti finished third with a time of 14.21 seconds. She became the first runner to win a medal for India in para sports.
Both athletes are extremely skilled in their respective sports and are making significant contributions to Indian sports.
