Many people may not know, but he did not start his channel name with CarryMinati. He changed it thrice, the first two names being AddictedA1 and Carry Deol. When he was 10 years old, he started posting videos in which he used to tell his viewers about playing football and give the method of playing the game. When such videos did not work, he tried copying.
He then started playing Counter Strike: Global Offensive gameplay where he used to do commentary in the voices of Sunny Deol and Hrithik Roshan. When that did not work out for him, he decided to try his hand at trending things, he started with roasting videos and one such video went viral when he collaborated with BB Ki vines, a channel run by Bhuvan Bam. This video not only got him a lot of views but he also started gaining popularity from there.
He soon realized that roasting videos were good for his channel, he started making more and more videos so that he could get the success he was looking for. From making fun of Bollywood award shows, mocking celebrities who went on Bigg Boss to sharing his candid opinions on trending, he soon became a household name.
