    Good nutrition walks hand in hand with good exercise as part of a healthy all-rounded fitness routine. One can use apps like MyFitnessPal, Yazio, or Noom to track daily calories consumed and the balance between macronutrients, along with the quality of food eaten.

    Some applications even use machine learning algorithms that will suggest according to preference or dietary restriction or health goals. 

    Another area that health technology companies make use of is DNA testing and artificial intelligence to offer one personalized nutrition recommendations tailored to him or her. For instance, firms such as 23andMe and Nutrigenomix have provisions that inform an individual his or her genetic makeup.

    From there, individual nutrition plans are developed in an effort to better digest food more effectively with their different biology.
