    1. Kalimpong

    is a city in West Bengal which is located at an average altitude of 1,250 meters (4,101 feet). This city is known as Kalimpong district. It is a unique hill station situated in the foothills of the Himalayas which is one of the popular tourist destinations of eastern India. Where the 27th Mountain Division of the Indian Army is located on the outskirts of the city. Kalimpong is known for some of its unique places, many of which were established during the British colonial period.

    It is a Chinese occupation of Tibet which became a means of trade between Tibet and India before the Indo-China War. The municipality is located on a hill above the Teesta River and is a tourist destination due to its pure climate, natural environment and proximity to popular tourist destinations of the region. Kalimpong is one of the best places to visit in September. Its lush green scenery and large tea gardens present a very beautiful view. Lepcha Museum, Mac Farlane Church, Dr. Graham Home, Deolo Hill, Moran House, Durpin Monastery and Songa Gumba are the major attractions here, which you must visit.

    Ziro is a town located in the Lower Subansiri district of the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is 115 km away from the state capital Itanagar.
    To enjoy the cool weather, cool breeze and the beauty of the beautiful mountains, you must visit this town in the month of September. Ziro is a quaint old town in Arunachal Pradesh, home to the Apa Tani tribe and is known for its pine hills, Ziro Festival and rice fields. Tali Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, Fort Pakho, Meghna Cave Temple, Siddheshwar Nath Temple, Hapoli, Pine Grove and Tipi Orchid Research Farm are some of the best places to visit here.

    3.Daman and Diu

    Daman and Diu in Gujarat is a very beautiful island, where you can spend some time to relieve your stress. The beaches here are not very crowded, and you can also see Gujarati and Portuguese cultures in the food here. Naida Caves, Diu Museum, INS Khukri Memorial, Zampa Gateway, Panikota Fort, Diu Fort, Gangeshwar Temple and Church of St. Francis of Assisi are the major places here.

    4.Coonoor

    One of the three beautiful Nilgiri hill stations, Coonoor is the second largest hill station in the Western Ghats. It is located at an altitude of 1,850 meters and just 56 km from Ooty. The beautiful scenery, forts and parks, hills that offer amazing views, and the serenity of this hill station make it one of the ideal places to visit in September in India. Coonoor also offers panoramic views of the Nilgiri Mountains and Catherine Waterfall. You can also enjoy trekking in Coonoor. Lamb’s Rock, Sim’s Park, St. George’s Church, Dolphin’s Nose and Lady Canning’s Seat are the major landmarks here.

    5.Srinagar

    Known as ‘Heaven on Earth’, Srinagar is located on the banks of the Jhelum River in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Srinagar is a great place to visit in September. Srinagar is home to some of the most exquisite Mughal-era gardens in India, with major attractions being Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashm-e-Shahi Garden. There is a lot to see in Srinagar, and Kashmiri cuisine is famous all over the world, so enjoy the local food after visiting here. Gulmarg, Nishat Bagh, Jama Masjid, Pahalgam and Hazratbal Mosque are famous places here. Srinagar is also famous for Kashmiri shawls, Kashmiri apples and dry fruits which can be purchased from Lal Chowk market.

    6.Pondicherry

    Pondicherry, also known as Puducherry. Pondicherry is one of the seven union territories of India bordered by the southern state of Tamil Nadu. A former French colony, Pondicherry is famous for its beautiful cafes, French cuisine, serene beaches. From beautiful yellow buildings to sunny beaches, there is a lot to visit in Pondicherry to make your trip memorable. Paradise Beach, Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, Seaside Promenade are the major attractions here.

    7.Amritsar

    Amritsar is one of the best places to visit in the northern part of India, especially after the monsoon. The main attraction here is the Golden Temple, which is frequented by devotees and tourists and the number of tourists also starts increasing here after the weather cools down after the rains from the beginning of September. Apart from religious places, there are also some museums and forts in the city. The historic Jallianwala Bagh here is also very famous among the people. Golden Temple, Durgiana Temple, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, Jallianwala Bagh, etc. are other major places here.
